Floods are raging in the Himalayan region of Nepal. The Nepal Army said that 16 people died and 22 others were missing in floods in Manang and Sindhupalchok Chautara districts. Home Ministry spokesman Janakraj Dahal said the extent of the property damage is yet to be estimated. He said the government was focused on finding out the whereabouts of people stranded in the floods, rescuing those trapped in the water blockade and rehabilitating the victims.
