The India-Nepal security agencies have decided to close the Indo-Nepal border from the 24th of this month in the wake of rising corona cases and UP Gram Panchayat elections.
On this occasion, Acting Commander of India Vikram Jeet said that the decision to close the border was taken after a meeting of the security agencies of the two countries. He said the decision was taken to prevent the further spread of corona and clashes in the panchayat elections.
Corona is booming in India in the second phase more than in the first phase. Curbing the spread of coronavirus in India has become a major challenge for the Chief Ministers of the respective states.
