With the emerging trends in eradicating Covid-19 virus, many companies and scientists have claimed new discoveries related to vaccine, drugs, home made treatments etc.
In this regard a young scientist from Navipet, Nizamabad district, has developed a machine that emits high-intensity ultraviolet rays without the use of a filament. This innovative machine is capable to neutralise the covid virus on the surface in just 15 seconds. The Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), based in Hyderabad, has also confirmed the performance of the UV box and entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Narsimhachari.
He said CCMB had been testing his machine for about 45 days. The Telangana State Innovation Cell has provided assistance and the International Advanced Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) has also identified the intensity of the rays emitted by the UV device it has developed. UV Light consumes thirty watts of power and it can bring a sharpness of 1,288 lux (lumens per square meter).
It is generally explained that this level of UV device only comes with a sharpness of 180–200 lux. He explained that this UV device can be used to neutralize germs other than the corona virus too.
