“Job Kavalante Babu Ravali” was a popular quote introduced by TDP in 2014 elections. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister promised to provide employment to all the unemployed youth of AP.
But Naidu couldn’t keep up his promise to the full extent and so had faced criticism from both YSRCP and Janasena parties. Pawan Kalyan highlighted the unemployment issue in his party’s manifesto, saying that Janasena provides 10 lakh jobs per year.
Going a step ahead, YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy in most of his recent campaigns went on highlighted the point that his government, if formed, would immediately fill all the 2.3 lakh vacant positions releasing a single notification.
This in fact, is a very great announcement, as it would naturally attract a large section of unemployed youth of AP. Adding to it, Jagan also promised to allocate 75% of the jobs in the industries to the locals.
Unemployment issue has raised a huge criticism on the existing TDP government and strategically YSRCP is using the point effectively for making it big in the elections.
