Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan said that he stayed away from Telangana assembly elections as they were preponed and his party was not prepared for it. But he announced that he would put his candidates for the Lok Sabha elections and as said he announced the MP candidates list for Telangana too.
While the elections are nearing in Telangana, Pawan Kalyan has not yet campaigned for any of the candidates in Telangana till date. In a storm like TRS, the parties like TDP and YSRCP couldn’t withstand in Telangana and were away from contesting in the state too, this time. But Pawan Kalyan has an edge in Telangana, when compared to TDP and YSRCP, as the actor turned politician is contesting in Telangana for the first time and he enjoys a decent craze among the youths.
He is expected to attract large sections of public and turn them as his voters. But Pawan Kalyan is currently investing all his time in AP elections itself and campaigning for his party candidates in all the areas over there.
Adding to it, Pawan Kalyan received a huge criticism for his comments which read, the Telangana leaders are harassing the Andhrites in Telangana. Though Pawan stressed that it was Telangana leaders and not people, it was understood the other way and drew criticism. At this point of time, if Pawan ignores campaigning for his MP candidates in Telangana, it would further worsen his position in Telangana, indicating that his comments were truly aimed at Telangana people. The power star of both the Telugu states, would thus remain as a leader for one state itself.
