Alekya Harika who shot to fame with her YouTube channel Dethadi Harika was supposed to enter the Bigg Boss house this year. However, drastic last minute developments have led to some high drama.
Reportedly, Harika has tested positive for Covid-19 just days before the commencement of the reality show, and as a result, she had to opt out.
The makers of the show hoped that the YouTube star would bring more attention to the show, but that wasn’t to be.
It is known that all the contestants who are supposed to take part in Bigg Boss were kept in quarantine. Alekya Harika seems to have tested positive for coronavirus during this period and she was shifted to get some medical attention and is doing fine now.
The coming season of Bigg Boss will be premiering on the 6th of September at 6PM. All the contestants in show are now shooting for their individual promos. Nagarjuna will be hosting the reality show this year after impressing many last year.
