Ex-minister and member of the Telugu Desam Party, Atchannaidu has been facing an unending series of atrocities for a few months now. Following a major surgery, he was arrested by the ACB, for the ESI scam, and while taking him to jail, Atchannaidu’s wound from the surgery opened up, and resulted in hospital admission.
Atchannaidu requested the High Court to give him special permission so that he could be treated in a private hospital, as his condition wasn’t getting any better at the government hospital he was admitted in. The High Court granted his request, after which he was admitted to Ramesh hospital, where he received treatment and also he was contracted with CoronaVirus in the Same hospital. He was later admitted to the Mangalagiri NRI hospital, where he has been receiving treatment for Coronavirus ever since then. Atchannaidu tested negative for the virus Today and has been discharged from the hospital.
In the meantime, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has sanctioned bail to Atchannaidu, in the ESIScam case. He had been trying to get a bail for a long time now, but the HC had been postponing the case repeatedly. With the HC finally sanctioning him bail, Atchannaidu is now free to go home.
Following his discharge, Atchannaidu directly left for his home in Nimmada, in Srikakulam district. Perhaps, Atchannaidu will not be arrested anymore, considering his bail and health condition.
