World’s largest Covid-19 treatment center in Delhi

Covid-19 cases were raising day by day in India. In New Delhi, the situation is more worse. Considering this aspect, Indian Government decided to setup a Covid-19 treatment center in Delhi, which will be the largest of its type in the world.

Radha Soami spiritual center in southern part of Delhi will be converted to the treatment center with 10000 beds. The area of this center is almost equivalent to 22 football fields combined. The specialty of this center is that the beds are made out of card boards. Officials mentioned that the Corona Virus can’t stay longer on the material that is being used in this center and hence the sanitation effort needed is minimal.

As the cases are raising, Indian Government is in the plans of imposing another lock down. Unlike the previous lock downs, Government is making sure to have all facilities in place before imposing restrictions.
