With the confidence, Telangana Lok Sabha election results have given, BJP is now able to go against the TRS government.
With 88 seats in hand in the assembly elections held last year, TRS retained the government. While several felt that the similar victory could be repeated in the Lok Sabha elections too, surprisingly, BJP won 4 MP seats in Telangana, giving a new ray of hope to the national party.

So unwilling to delay anymore, the BJP has now started criticizing the ruling party, hoping to emerge as the main opposition in Telangana soon. Referring to the demolition of old Secretariat buildings and replacing them with the new ones by the state government, the Telangana BJP leader Lakshman said that its not fair to do so.
“If KCR gets a headache, will he consider taking a tablet or cut the head,” Lakshman questioned, embarrassing the TS CM.

“The secretariat buildings were not even 40 years old and demolishing such buildings and reconstructing the new ones is a pure waste of money. It is not fair on the part of KCR, to do it in the name of sentiments,” the BJP leader said.
