The filming of Hindi remake Jersey directed by Gautam Tinnanuri for the real life sports drama has resumed lately. The film in Hindi is named as Jersey too starring Shahid kapoor in the lead role as a cricketer.
Of late Shahid has posted a BTS video from the sets of Jersey, where he is seen practicing cricket as part of his character. He was seen wearing black trouser and white T shirt padded up with a helmet. In the video someone is heard cheering the actor. Jersey also features Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor in the mentor role.
Indeed B town had been showing immeasurable enthusiasm to remake south Indian films especially from Tollywood. It’s known fact that Shahid with his rugged raw look won the hearts of his fans with Arjun Reddy remake `Kabir Singh’. After it’s success now all eyes are on Shahid’s next flick. The movie was supposed to release on August 28, 2020 but got delayed. The shooting now focused on Shahid’s cricketing skills has begun, however new release date is not announced yet.
Now in the Hindi remake of Jersey, he is going to step into the shoes of natural star Nani whose stellar performance was well received in the original version. It is to be waited to see, whether Shahid would outshine Nani!.
