TB Inside Story: Why film folks should always gift flowers

It is always safe and good to gift flowers and plants for occasions big and small. Especially when it comes to birthdays, acknowledgements, audio or pre release events, gifting flowers is the best way to express your happiness and gratitude to people. But some heroines in their excitement to please the directors for giving them a film, think of zillion things and take pain to find an appropriate present.

Not all can be a NTR or some other star who can buy imported watches or whiskey for their directors. The girls give things according to their capacity and not necessarily what the director is worthy of. In fact a rose stem or a nice whatsapp wish is enough but the directors better halves don’t think so. Recently a director who escalated the budget of a production house for making a movie with a star and his nephew, held a birthday party of his daughter at a star hotel.

Obviously the near and dear got invited. It didn’t cost him much to celebrate there because his manager or crew used their starry connections and got a hefty discount for the birthday party. Well, coming to the issue why we said flowers is…one of the heroines you know who… gifted a pair of cute silver anklets to the birthday girl. We think it is a very nice gift and absolutely beautiful thought that went into picking that stuff. Now, the director’s wife wasn’t too happy we heard.

Instead of being grateful that a heroine attended the party and came with a blessing she reportedly sulked in private that they were better off without such a small gift. She perhaps expected something more huge and expensive. Well, darling, didn’t we hear all the good things come in small packages? Don’t worry, the director’s next is with the mega family, they will get something bigger than what the heroine got or simply forget about and walk away after a photo op.
