Gannavaram TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi bid goodbye to TDP a long time back. Though the party hasn’t granted his resignation, unofficially he is a YSRCP leader. Vamsi has won in the last two assembly elections from Gannavaram constituency and now he is searching for something he has been waiting for a long time.
Even though Vamshi successfully averted Jagan’s storm in 2019 assembly polls, he doesn’t have a full grip on his own constituency. There has been a complaint from Vamshi that Gannavaram YSRCP leader Yarlagadda Venkata Rao is troubling him in the list of candidates to be nominated for the local polls.
So, Vamshi is in desperate need of Jagan’s attention and his recent activities suggest that he wants Jagan’s focus to shift towards him. Most recently, Vamshi thanked everyone who supported him and backed him in his vast political journey and created that post on Facebook as a farewell note. Along with that, there are many rumors that Vamshi is going to leave the politics and the Facebook post is all about it.
With four years term of office left as MLA, Vallabhaneni certainly wouldn’t take retirement and it seems his only agenda is to create some drama around his resignation and shift the focus of the ruling party towards him so that he would gain full grip on Gannavaram constituency.
