Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be completing three years in office on 30th May. Naturally, with the CM unable to celebrate his first two years in office due to the covid pandemic, one would expect the third-year celebrations to be grander than ever. However, this is not the case, apparently, with the CM reportedly having told his party members to keep the celebrations very low-key.
Jagan is currently holidaying in Switzerland with his family but is expected to be back in Tadepalli very soon. He is also expected to give speeches on the 30th, with the place yet to be confirmed. The YSRCP released a booklet that contained all of the government’s accomplishments in the two years of its rule in 2021. This is also not said to be the case this year, which has gotten everyone surprised.
If Jagan and his party members are so proud of their achievements, as very much said in public very often, they should be celebrating very grandly. Experts are of the opinion that the government is avoiding any sort of celebrations due to the financial crunch that the state is currently in, and also due to the increasing anti-incumbent feelings among the people of the state.
