Telugu Desam Party’s chief, Chandrababu Naidu, who also served as the former Chief Minister of the current Andhra Pradesh and several times as the CM of united AP, has been trying his best to get the TDP back in the game for the 2024 elections. The party lost out by a lot in 2019, having gone far off track. With the YSRCP having gained an infamous name in the state, Chandrababu is using everything in his power to make sure that the people get back to the TDP.
Chandrababu has now come up with a new slogan, “Quit Jagan, Save AP,” and even recently said that he would be announcing the candidates for the 2024 elections very soon. This is a major move, considering that the elections are two years away. This would give the TDP an edge over the YSRCP. Naidu also said that a representative would be assigned to every constituency to make sure that the people’s problems are heard.
Chandrababu has also been comparing AP’s economical situation to that of Sri Lanka’s, where the PM had to resing and go absconding, due to the dire circumstances that he put the country in. With Chandrababu also predicting early elections, it is to be seen what will happen in the end.
