The burning of the holy Chariot of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy’s Temple in Antarvedi is continuing to be the hot topic in the state of Andhra Pradesh, with politicians and the general public equally shocked and shaken by the incident. Many politicians are even saying that this is a direct act of hate against the Hindu religion.
From opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu, to former Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary, IYR Krishna Rao, everyone is expressing the same belief, that the chariot was purposefully burnt to warn and threaten the Hindu religion. IYR has recently said that it looks as though the Jagan government is favoring one particular religion over others, becuase of which all these atrocities are taking place against the Hindu religion.
On the other hand, senior IAS officer JSV Prasad, the special Chief Secretary of Endowments department was transferred suddenly on Tuesday night, yet again shocking and surprising everyone. JSV is known to be a very strict officer, who gave in to no one’s demands or orders. JSV had worked under Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy, in the Endowments department itself. With the sudden transfer of JSV Prasad, suspicions are further raised about what conspiracies went into the burning of the Antarvedi Chariot, and if the government is trying to hide something.
Several BJP leaders, including Somu Veerraju, have been placed under house arrest after they lashed out at the Andhra Pradesh government over the burning of the Antarvedi Chariot. The government and the police have been trying to control the damage as much as possible, but so far, there haven’t been any results.
