Vijay Sethupathi to be jailed??

Vijay Sethupathi who has gained huge praise for his acting skills in Tamil has a huge following in Telugu too. The latest movie Super Deluxe in which Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha appear in the lead roles is running successfully.

Directed by Thaigarajan Kumaraja Super Deluxe has got a huge hype along with critical acclamation. Vijay Sethupathi has portrayed the role of a transgender named Shilpa in this movie.

In the movie, there is a scene in which Shipla (played by Vijay Sethupathi), the transgender confesses that she had helped in the abduction of two small kids.

This particular scene has drawn flak by a few transgenders, as they believe that their gender has been defamed. Transgender actress and activist Revathi has posted on her social media that it is not the right thing to portray the transgenders as anti-social.

Also, a few other scenes and the portrayal of Shilpa’s role has drawn negativity from a few transgenders. Some of them raised their voices against Vijay Sethupathi’s role which is in a way creating a negative impact on the behavioral aspects of the transgenders.

The offended transgenders are demanding the arrest of actor Vijay Sethupathi, as they feel he should have taken the responsibility to portray the role of a transgender in a proper way.

On the other side of the coin, Vijay Sethupathi and team are being praised for their performances in Super Deluxe.
