Be it for ignoring the special status to Andhra Pradesh or funds for the huge projects, BJP is almost out of AP, like Congress. But the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is keen on concentrating on the state.
It’s Modi second visit in a week yesterday. After addressing a huge people gathering in Kurnool he attended another meeting in Rajamahendravaram yesterday.
More than promoting BJP, the PM is only concentrating on criticizing TDP government and is urging the people not to vote the party this time. It should be noted that Modi is maintaining mum on both YSRCP and Jagan, which is making the analysts opine that he is trying to keep his options, in case NDA’s majority goes down.
Though Telangana Chief Minister KCR is not contesting in AP elections, he is only aiming at the defeat of TDP and is so supporting Jagan in the background. In the same way, though BJP is aware that its not going to form the government, it seems, the party is only aiming at bringing down TDP government.
Reportedly, Modi is severely hurt with Chandrababu Naidu, who had erected flexies called “Modi go back”, during the PM’s visit to the state earlier. Adding to it, in spite of accepting special package, Naidu himself fighting against Centre for special status has shocked the BJP circles. All these issues queued up and made Modi to target Naidu in particular, the analysts opine.
