Venkatesh Daggubati’s much-awaited film ‘Drushyam 2’ has cleared censor formalities and received a clean U certificate from the Censor Board of Film Certification on September 20.
The makers of the upcoming suspense thriller took to Twitter to share the news. They just tweeted, “Censor done! It’s a clean U for #Drushyam2.”
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drushyam 2 stars Venkatesh, Meena, Kruthika Jayakumar and Esther Anil in pivotal roles. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 2’ (2021) and a sequel to ‘Drushyam’ (2014). Jeethu Joseph, who directed the original in Malayalam, is also helming the remake.
The film also has Sampath Raj, Nadhiya, Naresh, Poorna and Vinay Varma in crucial roles. Produced by Suresh Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas and Rajkumar Theatres, the film has music by Anup Rubens. The makers have not revealed the release date yet.
