Earlier today, a few media portals reported that Varun Tej is all set to work with young director, Sagar Chandra for a romantic entertainer under the production of 14 Reels Plus Entertainments. But it turns out to be that these reports are not authentic.
As said by our well-placed sources, Sagar Chandra has signed a film with 14 Reels Plus Entertainments, but it will not have Varun Tej in the lead role. The makers will be officially announcing the film and the male lead in it by the end of this week.
Notably, Sagar Chandra approached Varun Tej with a Hyderabad Nawab based script a while back, but the project did not materialize as Varun was not impressed with the script. Soon after, the mega hero took a boxing-based film onto the floors and it is in production stage currently.
Meanwhile, Sagar Chandra penned the script for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake, but he dropped out later for reasons best known to him. Interestingly, he approached 14 Reels Plus Entertainments with the Hyderabad Nawab based script he had prepared previously and got their approval. The makers are now zeroing on a young hero who would best suit the script.
The fact is that 14 Reels Plus Entertainments will be producing Sagar Chandra’s next project but it will not star Varun Tej. More details about the project, as mentioned above, will be out this week.
