The Telangana Congress Party is currently without a Chief, as a result of which many people are eyeing the post, and many names are surfacing as the potential candidates for the post.
What’s interesting to note is that the number of people who are pointing fingers at others as the perfect candidates for the post are more than the number of people who are trying to get the post.
More interestingly, popular news channel TV9 is extensively campaigning about the post, and is naming every candidate from the Congress as a worthy and potential candidate for the post of PCC Chief, except Revanth Reddy.
Indirectly even, TV9 has ruled out Revanth Reddy as the worst choice for the post, and has listed out the merits of many other leaders from the party.
Ever since the management at TV9 changed recently, there has been some political tension between the Congress leader and TV9, with TV9 running hours and hours of segments dedicated to demerit Revanth’s credentials.
TV9 even showed papers in which it claimed Revanth to be a part of the International mafia, and shut up only when Revanth took legal action on them. This is why TV9 now does not want him to be the Chief of PCC, as they are reportedly worried of what might happen to them in case he ends up in that position.
