Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment’s ex- employee Kshitij Ravi Prasad and Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisialos were conceded bail by special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court on Tuesday, 15 December.
The couple were first captured by the Narcotics Control Bureau for a drug case connected to the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. Later, they were captured again for supposedly getting drugs from a Nigerian national.
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde claimed it as a fake case. “The NCB linked Prasad to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and arrested him on 26 September 2020. He was charged under Sections 8(c) read with 20 (b) (ii) A, 27, 27A, 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985, despite the fact that there was no recovery of narcotic substances at his place except a cigarette butt that was seen in a corner of his open terrace”, Maneshinde said.
He claimed that agency offers compelled and threatened Kshitij Prasad numerous times to list Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and other employees of Dharma Productions in drug cartel. But it is learnt that Kshitij believed it is untrue and refused to falsely implicate them.
