In the wake of the rising corona cases in the country, TTD on Wednesday announced that it will suspend the issuance of Srivari Sarva Darshanam(SSD) Timeslot tokens for Tirumala Srivari Darshanam from the 12th of this month. Tokens will only be issued until Sunday (11–04–2021) evening.
It is learned that devotees were stopped from visiting the Shirdi temple in Maharashtra as the corona cases were increasing exponentially. Corona cases are also on the rise in Tirupati.
Against this backdrop, there are thousands of devotees waiting in queues for Sarvadarshana Timeslot tokens at the Bhudevi Complex, Vishnu Niwas. TTD said the decision was made in order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the temple.
