Yesterday both the Chief Ministers of Telugu States announced lock downs for their respective states which means borders of these two states will be sealed and no one can enter and no one can exit. Also both the CMs has asked people to come out of their houses except if it is extremely necessary.
Telangana Minister KTR tweeted about the lock down. Anchor Anasuya replied to the tweet stating that we have to work to get money and there are EMIs, Power Bills, house rents awaiting them to be paid. She requested the government to take initiative to consider such situations.
This has obviously drew more flak on social media. We can call it attention seeking as there is no need for a celebrity like her, who takes home lakhs of rupees as remuneration for each show to talk about paying monthly needs. One of the top anchors, can’t Anasuya bear just 7 days of lock down?
