The wait is over! Tollywood’s star hero, Pawan Kalyan is ready to make his way to the sets. The most anticipated #PSPK26 is going to begin. Actor Pawan Kalyan will star in the upcoming Telugu remake of critically-acclaimed Hindi film ‘Pink’.
The movie, which is scheduled for this summer release, will begin its first schedule from January 20th. This movie is being helmed by Oh My Friend and MCA fame Venu Sriram and is being bankrolled by Dil Raju. SS Thaman will compose music for this multi-million project.
In its original, Amitabh Bachchan was seen as a lawyer who is in his 80’s who turned on his retirement to save the lives of three girls who were falsely charged and framed. So, Amitabh’s character was strictly confined to court room scenes. Keeping Pawan Kalyan’s stardom and fans in mind, it is being said that Venu Sriram wrote some mind-boggling action scenes for Pawan which are going to be the highlight for this edge of a seat thriller.
The Telugu version of Pink will have dialogues by filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas and the official confirmation is awaited. The rest of the cast and crew will be officially announced soon. Pink was remade in Tamil this year. Ajith Kumar reprised Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original.
