“The Government is not ready to hold the elections in February,” AP CS said to SEC

Recently, a meeting was held between officials, CS Adityanath Das, and Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Prasad. This meeting lasted for an hour and a half. The CS team said it was not possible to hold local body elections in February due to Covid vaccination. AP CS asked that local body elections should be postponed until the vaccination process is done.

The CS team said that the Covid vaccination process will begin this month in AP. The center also conducted a dry run today with instructions. The CS team said that the first round of vaccines would be given to one crore people and 5 crore people would be vaccinated in two doses with a gap of 6 to 8 months.
