Recently, the corona vaccine has arrived at Shamshabad Airport. The Covid vaccine was sent on a special cargo flight from the Serum Institute in Pune.
Around 6.5 lakh doses of Covid vaccines reached the airport. The Chief Secretary held a video conference with district collectors to review preparations for the Covid-19 vaccination following the instructions issued by CM KCR.
Covid vaccination will start across the state from the 16th of this month. Arrangements have been made for vaccination at 1,213 centers across the state.
866 cold chain points were set up to dispense the vaccine. A total of 2.90 lakh people will be vaccinated by government and private medical personnel.
The vaccine distribution program will continue every day from 9 am to 4 pm.
