For the first time in the history of world cinema, two entertainment giants, PVR Cinemas and SS Rajamouli’s RRR, have collaborated for the biggest and never-heard-before association. Apparently, this is the first time a brand changed its name for the film.
The multiplex chain PVR has been named ‘PVRRR’ just for the film. From now, it will be referred as PVRRR for the next few months across India in 850+ screens and 170+ properties in 70+ cities. However, the name will be only for a few months until the release and run of RRR.
As per reports, the RRR logo and the film’s release date will be imprinted on every seat in every PVR outlet across the country. Rajamouli, who is a master in planning promotions, is also teaming up with the multiplex giant for several other promotional campaigns.
Set in the 1920s, RRR is a fictional tale of revolutionaries Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. The film is slated to hit the theatres on 7th January 2022.
