Telugu Desam leader, Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla seeking paternity leave. In a letter to the Speaker, Rammohan Naidu said that his wife would give birth to a child next week and wanted to be with her in such situations. He wrote a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha seeking leave in the wake of the budget sessions of Parliament.
Rammohan asked the Speaker to grant nine days of leave from January 29 to February 10. Rammohan Naidu explained that his wife Shravya is likely to give birth to a child at any time in the next week. Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu married Shravya, daughter of former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, in June 2017.
