Tamannaah speaks about Rajamouli’s casting process

Rajamouli is one of the top-billed and commercially proven directors in Indian cinema. His fame and popularity grew beyond leaps and bounds post the release of the Baahubali duology. He is the most sought-after director in Indian film industry now.

Coming to the topic, Tamannaah opened up about Rajamouli’s casting process in her latest interview.

“Rajamouli never casts an actor based on his relationship with him/her. He approaches an actor only if he feels they can do complete justice to the role. If you receive a call from the master craftsman, you can be assured that he has penned a tailor-made role for you,” she said.

It is known that Tamannaah played an important role in Baahubali: The Beginning. She made a very brief appearance in the second part.
