Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’s upcoming official Hindi remake of Chatrapathi was launched today in Hyderabad. The film was inaugurated in a grand manner with several biggies gracing the ceremony.
Director SS Rajamouli, who helmed Chatrapathi starring Prabhas and Shriya Saran in lead roles, gave the first clap for the film, while his wife Rama Rajamouli switched on the camera. Veteran writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the story of Chatrapathi, handed over the remake’s script to the makers. Producer AM Ratnam did the honorary direction.
As per reports, a huge set has been constructed in the same location where Ram Charan’ and Sukumars Rangasthalam was shot. The shooting of this untitled film begun today in Hyderabad.
VV Vinayak will direct the remake. Dr. Jayantilal Gada is presenting the film, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Akhshay Jayantilal Gada are producing it on Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment.
