Special: Arjun Reddy becomes big loss for Star Hero

The film made by Bala has been dumped and Vikram paid the first copy money to the producers.

He then got it remade this time by Gireesayya. That too cost him approximately four crore while Bala’s version was four and a half crore.

It is a loss for Vikram financially and it is a humiliation for producer Mukesh Mehta because it isn’t running well in Chennai.

Arjun Reddy rights were sold for around forty lakhs in Tamil. Gireesayya is planning to hold a show for his colleagues shortly to show his debut project that people have termed it as a faithful remake.

The characterization of Banita Sandhu is not submissive and has been shown as going overboard say some and producer Mukesh Mehta says the hero’s character has been toned down to a small extent going by the feedback of violence and misogyny that the film advocated.

The movie did a pre-release business of 16 crore unheard for a new hero in recent times.
