Siddharth gets rape & death threats, Alleges BJP leaked his number

South actor Siddharth is one of the very few celebrities in the film industry, who raises his voice against the ruling BJP government.

Over the years, in many instances, the actor has slammed BJP, be it about CAA, NRC and attack on Jamia students. He also criticised the ruling party over their Covid crisis management.

Now, the actor took to social media alleging that Tamil Nadu BJP IT cell leaked his contact number. He said that he has received over 500 rape and death threats since then.

Siddharth took to Twitter and mentioned that he has recorded these calls and will hand over the same to cops. “My phone number was leaked by members of TN BJP and @BJPtnITcell Over 500 calls of abuse, rape and death threats to me & family for over 24 hrs. All numbers recorded (with BJP links and DPs) and handing over to Police. I will not shut up. Keep trying,” he wrote and tagged PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He even shared the screenshots of the trolls who openly abused him on social media.
