In a shocking new update, it is being reported that the power supply to the Uppal stadium in Hyderabad a day before the team faces Chennai Super Kings in an important face-off.
The power supply DISCOM has mentioned that the HCA owes Rs 1.6 crore in pending power dues which has not been settled since the last 7 years.
After a notice in February, the DISCOM didn’t get a satisfactory response from the HCA and as a result, the agency decided to stop the power supply to the Hyderabad stadium.
An unforeseen power cut to the Hyderabad stadium a day before the important clash between Hyderabad and Chennai is as pathetic as things can get and the onus is on HCA to settle this humiliation at the earliest before things go further haywire.
The game between SRH and CSK will start at 7:30 PM tomorrow. HCA has a few hours to settle this issue.
