After Mahanubhavudu in 2017, Sharwanand‘s films in the last couple of years had failed to impress the audience. Be it Ranarangam or Jaanu, the films didn’t reach the expectations and ended as duds at the box office.
Now, he is all set to score a big hit with his upcoming film ‘Sreekaram’ which gears up for a grand release on March 11th as Maha Shivaratri Special.
The following is the pre-release business report of Sreekaram:
Nizam: Rs 5.7 crore
Ceeded: Rs 2.4 crore
Total Andhra area: Rs 8 crore
Sreekaram pre-release business in Telugu states: Rs 16.1 crore
Apart from this, the film made a business of another Crore worldwide. The film now owns a total of 17.1 crore pre-release business worldwide at the box office. In order to declare it as a clean hit, Sreekaram has to collect a minimum of over 17.5 crore shares.
The latest news is the ticket prices are hiked by 120 to 150 on single screens, as well as 200 to 250 ticket hikes in multiplexes. It remains to see whether these ticket hikes will help or hurt the movie. Produced by 14 Reels Plus and directed by Kishor B, the film has music by Mickey J Meyer.
