As we had clearly mentioned in our review of Naandhi which released yesterday, Allari Naresh delivered his career-best performance in the Vijay Kanakamedala directorial. He is receiving great appreciation for his sincere efforts and clap-worthy performance in the realistic drama.
But the latest reports suggest that Allari Naresh was not always the first choice for the male lead role in Naandhi.
Our sources say the director of Naandhi, Vijay Kanakamedala first approached Sharwanand with the script and he was reluctant to sign the project, fearing it would be too outlandish for him. So, he did not green signal the project and Vijay later came in touch with Allari Naresh who readily signed the dotted line.
Going by the reception Naandhi is receiving, it needs to be said that Sharwanand’s reluctance has benefited Allari Naresh.
Sharwanand was sceptical about the film as he was not entirely sure about the intense subject and he decided not to come on-board. But Allari Naresh who has been waiting for author-backed roles gave his nod immediately after listening to the script and signed the project.
Allari Naresh put in his best efforts for Naandhi and his brilliant work is being appreciated by one and all now. He himself said Naandhi is more of a rebirth for him as an actor and that shows how much he adored the subject and trusted in it.
