Serum Institute in India is aiming to produce Crores of doses soon for the entire world. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation along with Gavi vaccines alliance came up with a $150 million deal with Serum Institute to produce 10 Crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine for poor nations.
As per the details, each dose is priced at a maximum of $3 or Rs.250. Various organizations across the world are framing strategies to sponsor the vaccine for the needy. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which previously helped the poor and the needy in various occasions took the first step and stood as an inspiration for the other organizations. Governments of various countries too were trying to give this vaccine for free to their citizens.
Several Indian Pharma companies were now involved in producing the vaccine at bulk and India is turning out to be a Pharmaceutical hub for the world.
