In yet another shocking news to the Telugu film industry, veteran actress Kavitha, who has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films, has lost her son. Her son, Sanjay Roop was affected by the virus and has passed away on Tuesday, June 15.
As per reports, Roop was in the home isolation for a few days. However, after his health deteriorated, he was rushed to the hospital, where he breathed his last.
On the other hand, Kavitha’s husband, Dasaratha Raj, is fighting for his life. He has been undergoing Covid-19 treatment for the past few days.
For the unversed, Kavitha entered the film industry when she was 11 years old. She debuted with the K Viswanath directorial film ‘Siri Siri Muvva’ in 1976 and acted in over 350 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. South entertainment industry mourned the demise of Sanjay Roop.
