Sarigama Cinemas, a pioneer in Overseas film distribution, has now acquired the distribution rights of Vijay Deverakonda’s highly awaited film ‘Liger’.
After releasing gigantic pan-India blockbusters like SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Prashanth Neel’s KGF, the distribution company is now releasing yet another big-budget film in overseas.
Announcing the same, the production house, Puri Connects wrote on Twitter, “#Liger is ready to set its foot in Overseas. We are delighted to associate with @sarigamacinemas for overseas release.”
Liger sees Vijay playing an MMA fighter role while Ananya Panday plays his love interest. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the movie is produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. It has legendary boxer Mike Tyson playing an extended cameo, which marks his acting debut in Indian cinema. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on 25 August 2022.
