This Sankranthi season is seeing a head-on clash between Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. Interestingly, both Balayya and Chiru are playing to their strengths. Veera Simha Reddy is a mass action drama with Balayya in an aggressive Mass role, while Chiru plays an entertainer in Waltair Veerayya.
But if we take a look at the actual prospects of these two films, it needs to be said that Waltair Veerayya scores over Veera Simha Reddy.
The Chiranjeevi starrer is a properly packed Sankranthi film with good songs, Chiru mark comedy, fights, and dances. On the other hand, Veera Simha Reddy is a full-on mass-action drama with little scope for comedy.
Usually, during the Sankranthi festival season, the family audience tends to pick films that entertain them to the core. Waltair Veerayya has ticked this box with its all-round entertainment.
When it comes to the greater variety, Waltair Veerayya has more to offer. So Chiru might’ve just surged through in this aspect. The box office validation shouldn’t be too long from now either.
