Covid-19: Sanjeev Rathod gets discharged from hospital

It is well known that Shravan Rathod-of acclaimed Nadeem Shravan jodi, passed away due of COVID complications on April 22 at Mumbai’s Raheja hospital. In the due course of time, the legendary musician’s elder son Sanjeev and spouse Vimla Rathod have also been contracted covid-19 and were hospitalised in Seven Hills Hospital.

Sanjeev’s condition eventually weakened and he was put on oxygen support. Afterward, the family got him moved to Wockhardt Hospital (Agripada). It is just since Sanjeev began recovering and has been released from Wockhardt. He is medically better now and the symptoms have dampened and found to be stable.

However, his wife shifted him under the treatment of Dr Altmash Shaik whom they have known since few years.

While speaking to a media portal Sanjeev said, “I am still feeling quite weak and lungs will take time to heal completely, but finally I tested negative for COVID. I have finished my isolation period in the hospital itself but will make sure to maintain social distancing and wear a mask at home for the next few days.”

Sanjeev thanked Dr Altmash, Dr Rahul Gujar and Dr Narendra Nikam for their efforts, care and support throughout his stay.
