Film director and cinematographer KV Anand(54) died this morning due to a heart attack. Director KV Anandh has directed films including Ayan(Veedokkade in Telugu), Ko(Rangam in Telugu), Marthan, and Kavan.
Director KV Anand died at 3 am today due to cardiac arrest, spokesman Riyaz K Ahmed said.
Director KV made his debut in films in 1994 with a Malayalam film. He won the National Award for Best Cinematography for his first film.
Following that he has worked as a cinematographer for many films in Tamil including Kadhal Desam(Prema Desam in Telugu), Neruku Ner. KV Anand is also director Shankar’s favorite cinematographer.
He has been the cinematographer for Shankar films like Boys, and Shivaji. Many celebrities are expressing condolences for the death of director KV Anand.
