After the recent stories that the National channel Republic TV ran, about a supposed movement in the YSRCP, where senior leaders were trying to grab the post of the Chief Minister. This shocked all the senior leaders of the party. This has even led to rumours of Jagan supposedly being outthrown and even being sent to jail, with all of his cases currently under investigation.
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy went so far as to say that if he were the Chief Minister, he would completely eliminate any opposition to the party. With this statement, and with Peddireddy reportedly spreading rumours of him being the CM candidate next, several people are saying that Jagan might indeed go to jail. Responding to these speculations, YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju said that Peddireddy has every chance to be the next CM.
While saying that there’s no chance that there would be a movement against the CM in YSRCP, RRR did say that Peddireddy’s recent statements are not to be taken lightly. He also said that the municipal polls are not a referendum for Jagan’s rule in the state and that the YSRCP has won with the support of the people it has, and with its investment capability.
Furthermore, RRR said that Peddireddy could very well become the CM as he has enough money and assets, and enough reputation and power to succeed in the role, and to even sustain.
