Rajamouli always pays special attention to interval blocks in his movies and often incorporates high-octane action blocks just before the interval mark. He is following the same route for RRR as well.
The interval block of RRR was recently shot in Hyderabad and this schedule went on for 50 odd days. Many supporting artists and junior actors were specially trained for this particular action sequence. This training went on for 5 months and fight choreographer Solomon supervised the entire process.
This action block will have a duration of 8-9 minutes in the final cut and it was shot on a massive scale. It will be a goosebump-inducing sequence.
Rajamouli is very particular about this particular episode and he extracted the very best out of Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
This schedule was so very demanding and physically tiring that both Jr NTR and Ram Charan took a short break from shoot after wrapping it up and went on independent vacations to rejuvenate themselves.
Rajamouli’s eye for detail and perfection was on full display this time around.
The shooting of RRR is expected to be wrapped up by April or May next year.
