RRR: Boney Kapoor says Rajamouli took an unethical decision

Yesterday, the makers of Rajamouli‘s big-budget periodic action thriller RRR announced that the film would be releasing on 13th of October.

Well, it seems to be that not everyone is happy with this announcement.

Going into the story, Boney Kapoor, who is presenting Ajay Devgan’s Maidaan called out Rajamouli and said his decision to release the film on 13th October is unethical.

“In order to avoid a possible clash with other films, we(the makers of Maidaan) had announced 15th October as the release date many months ago. Now, all of a sudden, RRR unit announced that the film will be releasing just 2 days prior to our film. This is an unethical decision and I didn’t expect this from Rajamouli,” Boney Kapoor stated.

Interestingly enough, Ajay Devgan who is playing lead role in Maidaan will also be seen in Rajamouli’s RRR.

Boney Kapoor further added that producers should look out for each other in these testing times rather than taking opportunistic decisions.

We need to wait and see if the makers of RRR will revert back to Boney Kapoor’s comments.
