Roja Selvamani, MLA from Nagari constituency on YSRCP ticket has been staying away from movies and confining herself to small screen entertainment shows.
When asked about her cine career, Roja said she is not interested in acting in random films just for the sake of it.
“I have been receiving a few offers to star in random films of late, but I have been rejecting them. However, I will definitely act in Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna’s films if the offer comes my way. I hope filmmakers pen an interesting role for me in films that have those two stars in lead roles,” she said.
Roja says she is content with small screen shows like Jabardasth and added that it is a great medium to entertain the audience.
The noted actress claimed she does not prefer to play mother or aunt roles in films if her character lacks prominence in the script.
It remains to be seen if Roja’s wish to act alongside Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna will come true in the near future.
