Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for her controversies, has yet again made it to headlines for unwanted reasons. The Queen actress has come under the scanner for allegedly targeting Indian cricketers in an offensive tweet on Wednesday.
Of late, Kangana has been exchanging verbal volleys with celebs over the ongoing farmers’ protest in India. She aimed India cricketer Rohit Sharma after the Mumbai Indian skipper shared his personal views about the farmers’ agitation on social media.
Taking to Twitter, the vice-captain of India’s limited-overs cricket wrote, “India has always been stronger when we all stand together and finding a solution is the need of the hour. Our farmers play an important role in our nation’s well-being and I am sure everyone will play their roles to find a solution TOGETHER. #IndiaTogether.”
Taking cognisance of Rohit’s tweet, Kangana launched a harsh attack on the Indian cricketers. She countered his tweet, “Why all these cricketers sounding like dhobi ka kutta na ghar ka na ghat ka? (neither here, nor there). Why would farmers be against laws which are revolutionary for their well-being? These are terrorists who are causing (a) ruckus. Say that na…itna daarr lagta hai?”
Soon after Kangana posted this, the microblogging website removed her tweet for violating company rules. Now, Team India cricket fans, as well as Rohit Sharma fans, are slamming the 33-year-old actress for disrespecting the national players.
Some fans commented that Kangana hasn’t even achieved 1% of what Rohit or any Indian cricketer has achieved. Seems like the actress made a wrong move this time. It remains to be seen to what extent this Twitter war goes between Kangana and Rohit Sharma fans.
