For the past two days, there were speculations that Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family are planning to relocate to London. The news went viral on social media and it caught everyone’s attention.
As the speculations regarding Ambani and his family’s plans to move to London went viral, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) issued a statement on Friday to put the rumours about its chairman to rest.
“RIL will like to clarify that the chairman and his family have no plans whatsoever to relocate or live in London or anywhere else,” the statement said.
The company statement further added that Reliance Industries Investments and Holdings Limited had recently bought Stoke Park estate in London, intending to turn the heritage property into a premier golfing and sporting resort. Mukesh Ambani purchased the Stoke Park property for Rs 592 crore earlier this year.
