RGV’s ‘Maa Ishtam’ locks a release date

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is coming up with different kinds of movies in recent years. Showing his mark on the silver screen as a typical director, he is going to bring a lesbian story to the audience with his upcoming film ‘Maa Ishtam’. The posters, which were released already, have raised expectations for the film.

Now, the makers have announced that ‘Maa Ishtam’ (Dangerous) will be released on May 6. To this extent, RGV, who has undertaken film promotions, has launched a program called Ask Anything.

Naina Ganguly and Apsara Rani, who played the lead roles, along with director Ram Gopal Varma participated in the event which was held at Ambedkar University, Hyderabad. RGV said that the film feels different and has never been seen before.

Produced by Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, Maa Ishtam tells a love story between two sultry women.
