Reliance General Insurance on Tuesday announced it will offer a one-time 5 percent discount for vaccinated customers for buying or renewing insurance cover in order to encourage their customers to be get vaccinated.
The company said it is bound to the safety of its customers by strongly promoting the Coronavirus vaccination drive and rewarding customers who have already taken a jab.
This discount applies to premium payments as well as those who have taken out new life insurance policies. The company said it was limited to a single instalment premium.
In addition to the current discounts on Reliance Health Infinity policy, it is applicable for a single installment only. Those who have been vaccinated with the first shot can also get this discount. The offer can also be availed by existing policyholders on their renewal premium.
“While we have always encouraged individuals to insure themselves against a medical emergency, this time we want to do more. By the means of this incentive, we want to encourage individuals to prioritise their health at this critical hour and get themselves vaccinated at the earliest,” CEO Rakesh Jain said.
