Gopala Gopala fame director Kishore Kumar Pardasani aka Dolly had been in the news that he would do a remake of Kollywood super hit film ‘Vikram Vedha’ in Telugu. He was keen to rope in Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja for the same.
The original Tamil movie ‘Vikram Vedha’, which was released in 2017 featured R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. It soon went on to became a massive hit owing to the power packed performances of the cast.
Although the news was speculating, it turns out that Ravi Teja had different plans after Krack’s success. Reportedly, he is in search of a best director who would not disrupt his mass image yet be able to deliver the remake suitable to Telugu audience in a successful way.
The original film narrates about the story of a strict cop played by Madhavan as Vikram accompanied by his partner to nab a smuggler Vedha played by Vijay. Now it is left to the Telugu audience to guess who among the both(Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja) would assume the aforementioned roles in this cop story. However, official confirmation has not been declared about the duo’s combo by any of the Telugu film makers.
